Ballistic: Survivor — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Overview
Ballistic: Survivor is a free-to-play mobile game. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data needed to make the game work.
Data We Collect
- Player handle — the name you choose for leaderboards. Stored on our server alongside your scores.
- Leaderboard scores — wave reached, kills, and score for daily, weekly, seasonal, and challenge leaderboards.
- Run statistics — weapon builds, character picks, and run outcomes. Used for leaderboard run-detail views.
- Device token — if you opt in to push notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to send you daily challenge reminders and leaderboard alerts. You can opt out at any time in Settings.
- Game settings and progress — saved locally on your device (localStorage). If you enable Cloud Save, your progression (unlocks, cosmetics, settings) is also synced to our server under an anonymous account keyed to a randomly generated device ID — no email or password required.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Real name, email, phone number, or physical address
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, or files
- Payment information (handled entirely by Google Play / Apple)
Third-Party Services
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — for optional push notifications. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob (mobile app) — for optional rewarded advertisements. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier; ad personalization can be disabled in your device settings, and ads can be removed permanently via the one-time in-app purchase. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (mobile app) — aggregate usage analytics and crash diagnostics to improve the game and fix bugs. May include a Firebase app-instance ID and basic device/app metadata. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Leaderboard scores are retained for the duration of their period (daily scores for 14 days, weekly/challenge scores for 3 weeks, seasonal scores for the season duration). Run statistics on the server are retained indefinitely but can be deleted on request.
Children's Privacy
Ballistic: Survivor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of all your server-side data (leaderboard entries, run history, notification tokens) by contacting us. Your local game progress is stored only on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
